Our Fine Sea Salt in a package comes from France - a country with worldwide renowned salt works. France has a long tradition of sea salt production. The Camargue, located by the Mediterranean Sea, provides ideal conditions to gain salt from seawater. The seawater glistens in the sun in shallow pools until the salt crystallizes, thanks to the heat and wind. Afterwards the salt is harvested before it reaches us and later your table.
